A new Carers Forum Website has been launched in Torbay

A new  Carers Forum website has been launched in the Bay – it will be run by Carers for Carers.                        

The idea is to help Carers across the Bay contact each other and influence the way the NHS and Council commissions and shapes services around their needs.   There is a short video introduction from Carer Kevin Dixon on the on the front page of the website.  Who says…”.The key is that Carers are in the driving seat with this website”

There are options for Carers to suggest subjects for discussion or pose questions to be raised with agencies.  

The Website also includes local and national news items that effect Carers, information about events and meetings and  aims to make it easy for  local Carers to “have a say”   Training is on offer for those who are unfamiliar with the Web.
