Torbay LINk "Community Chest Fund" Project
Up and down the country Local Involvement Networks (LINks) have been working hard to make a difference by helping to shape health and social care services.
Earlier this year in order that to ensure that the residents of Torbay were able to “have their say” about local services the LINk launched a “Community Chest Fund”.
NB: All applications to the Community Fund will have had an interest in health and social care.Projects should have been able to provide the LINk with evidence or information about how improvements could be made to local health and social care services in Torbay.
Any information gathered for the LINk in this way will be used to inform the work of the LINk and will be reported back to local Commissioners and service providers.
The Torbay LINk is an independent network made up of individuals and members of voluntary organisations and community groups. It gives local people the opportunity to influence the way health and social care services are planned by enabling each and every resident to have their say about shaping services for the future.
Four of the five commissioned reports are now available: We hope to be able to add the final report soon!!
