The LINk is volunteer-led and we are always looking for volunteers to help with our work.
If you would like to join our Steering Group - or if you have an idea for a piece of work that you think would benefit patients in Somerset - then please get in touch.
Steering Group Volunteers Wanted
- Steering Group Members decide on the work of the LINk and decide on governance issues - they take a broad overview of the LINk's work and meet on a monthly basis for discussion and talks.
- Around 12 members
Enter & View Volunteers Wanted
- Meets when required for Enter & View activities.
- Initial training will be given.
- Enter & View team can comprise between 2 - 8 members from pool of around 15 - 20 volunteers.
We are always seeking people who are willing to join our ‘Enter & View’ team, who visit and report on care services in Somerset. You will be trained in Enter & View and you will receive ongoing training about issues that affect people in residential homes. Expenses are paid.
