Volunteer role: Member on the LINk Expert Panel, to be set up in 2011
Who for? Your local LINk!
What will I do? Gather info about your chosen 'expert' area and bring this to the Expert Panel, which will meet monthly.
In 2011 we are going to set up a LINk Expert Panel, which will meet monthly.
This will comprise local 'patient experts' who will champion the area that they are passionate about: whether that's heart services, cancer services, hospitals, maternity care or domiciliary care. These 'LINk Experts' will keep up with local developments in their subject area, and report back to the LINk Expert Panel which will meet on a monthly basis.
If you have a health or social care area that you are passionate about, and would love to be a champion for your cause and help ensure that services in Somerset are closely monitored, then please get in touch and we'll keep you up to date with our plans.
