Berkshire Community Equipment Services Consultation
Title: Berkshire Community Equipment Services Consultation
What's it about: A process to determine the provider of the contract for the supply of Community Equipment Services for Berkshire (BCES) will commence in July 2011. BCES provides aids for daily living such as commodes, walking frames and patient lifting hoists and community nursing equipment such as electric profiling beds, pressure care mattresses and suction machines.
A number of consultation meetings and events are being organised across Berkshire and the BCES Partners invite service users, carers, referring Health and Social Care Practitioners, General Practitioners, Voluntary Organisations and other stakeholders accessing the Berkshire Community Equipment Service to attend one of these events and have your say on future service provision in order to ensure that we meet the needs of our clients and provide the most efficient and responsive service possible.
- What works well that you would like to see more of in the future?
- What does not work well and needs redesigning?
- Innovative thoughts and ideas on the model of the future service (e.g. extended operating hours, wider range of equipment availability)?
