All about our Patient Stories project
We're busy collecting patient feedback across Somerset - finding out what local people think about health services and social care services across the county.
Collecting people's stories is a big part of the work of a LINk.
We've put our (very pretty - see right!) Patient Stories leaflets in surgeries, hospitals, clinics and children's centres across Somerset. We aim to collect stories from people across Somerset, in order to collect together first-hand experiences of using health and social care services across Somerset.
We're sending the stories that we recieve to the providers of services, in order to let them know how people feel about their services - and so they know what people like, and what people want to improve. We're asking them to give their views on the comments they receive.
We'll also be publishing stories about local hospitals and some other health services on the website Patient Opinion - and asking the providers of those services to respond online.
Hopefully you will have spotted our leaflets in your local surgery - but if you need some, or spot a surgery or clinic where they don't have any, then please get in touch and we'll put it right!
Many thanks to all the surgeries, hospitals and clinics that are supporting this project!
.... and this is what the leaflet looks like inside...
