Sharing your experiences with LINk

Sharing your experiences

If you live in Oxfordshire and have used health services (GPs, dentists, hospitals, health clinics) or social care - then tell us your story and share your experience. Good or bad - we want to know what patients think about the services that are available in Oxfordshire.

You don't have to tell us your name, and you can tell us your story anonymously. If you do tell us your name, we won't pass that information on to anyone else without asking you first.

We will use your story in our work, telling people what we are learning about health services and social care in Oxfordshire. We may take your comments to the people who run the services, or we may use your experience to add to the information that we use to work out what services need improving, or what is working well.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in comments or concerns about local health and social care services. The feedback that has been collected is currently being analysed and collated so that we have a clear idea of prominent issues that we could explore further. These issues will be subject to a selection process according to evidence, timescales, impact and value for the community. This process will result in a number of projects that the LINk could be working on during 2010/11.

Some of the prominent issues under consideration are:

  • Podiatry Services
  • Community Mental Health Teams
  • Hospital Discharge Care Packages
  • Maternity Services
  • GP Appointments

Please do keep feeding back to us your stories and experiences. We would especially like to hear from you if you would like to comment on any of these issues, or be involved in one of our Project Groups.
