Oxfordshire LINk Health Bus Roadshow

People in Oxfordshire will have the chance to jump on the Health Bus and give their views on local health and social care services. The LINk is driving a Health Bus for a cross county roadshow this spring and summer. The Health Bus will visit several locations, and provide people with an easy method to have their say about the services they use in their community.  People can find out more about the LINk, along with other information such as healthy diet and active life style. There’s even a chance to win a prize when you sign up to participate in the LINk!

August Update

Thank you to everyone who has come to us and talke about their experiences and concerns on the services they use. From the issues we collected, we now have a three ‘Top Issues’:

• Podiatry Services
• Community Mental Health Services
• GP Appointments

The LINk Health Bus will still be travelling around the county over the summer and autumn. The next stops will be:

• Thursday 26^th August, 10am-2pm, at Didcot Orchard Centre [due to unforeseen circumstances the health bus day in Didcot has been cancelled]
• Friday 3^rd September, 10am-2pm, at Cutteslowe & SunnymeadPark (Oxford)
• Monday 13^th September, 10am-2pm, at ThameTownCentre

July Update

Dates for coming visits:

• Friday 2^nd July, 10am-2pm at Abingdon Market Place
• Friday 30^th July, 10am-2pm at West Oxford Health Centre

June Update

During the first four visits, we have talked to approximately 120 people, receiving valuable comments, both positive and negative about the services they use. From these, together with other feedback, the LINk will produce a summary of any major concerns to take to those providing the services. We will publish the outcomes of these discussions later in the year.

The next stops will be:

• Friday 4^th June, 10am-2pm at Bicester Town Centre
• Friday 11^th June, 10am-2pm at Didcot Orchard Centre
