The results of our last opinion polls are now in. We asked two different questions relating to health and social care.

Here are the questions and percentage votes:

Question 1: Should GPs be open on evenings & weekend?

Answers:         Yes 74% (74 votes)

                        No 17% (22 votes)

                        Don’t Care 9% (11 votes)

Question 2: If you need care and support, who should pay for it?

Answers:         You 16% (15 votes)

                        Your Family 4% (4 votes)

The Government using taxation 80% (74 votes)

Public opinion on these questions was clear with a huge majority vote for both.

Firstly, almost three quarters of people answering question one thought that GP surgeries should be open on evenings and weekends. Also three quarters of responses to question two think that care and support should be funded by government taxation.
