New 0300 Telephone Number for LINks
Cheaper calls using the new number: 0300 111 0102
Great News! Your local LINks now has a new 03 telephone number that allows people
to call for less and guarantees an improved service for all.
It is now even easier and cheaper to have your say about local health and social care services as the new 0300 111 0102 number is now live and ready for your LINks calls.
The move to the modern and recognisable number has been praised and applauded by many. Unlike the more expensive 08 numbers, the 03 numbers will cost no more to dial than local or national numbers (01 and 02) and are included in all mobile bundle packages.
Please be assured that the previously publicised 0845 4500 418 number will remain in use.
The pioneering 03 numbers were introduced by Ofcom (Office of Communications) and are specially designated to public bodies and not-for-profit organisations. Allocations of the numbers began in March 2007 and were even adopted by Ofcom themselves in November the same year.
The new 0300 111 0102 number is a great benefit that gives all LINks users an increased confidence and reasurrance. Many major organsiations, such as the RSPCA and Driving Standards Agency are using the new 03 numbers, as well as hundreds of smaller charities, and the 03 number owner is prohibited from earning a revenue share of the call costs. This means that we do not want our callers to pay an additional charge when contacting us. So please pick up your phone and make a change!
