During the past couple of months, I have noticed changes to services at my local GP's that have affected me directly. One is the nurses will no longer take a routine regular blood test which I require, and I will now have to go to Poole Hospital, which is fine, but will take a lot more time, and cost on my part. Also I was unable to get a verucca treated with liquid nitrogen at my GP's, which I have had done in the past.
I am wondering when the GP's have control of their own budgets, how this will affect the patients? Let's hope it can only improve things.
